Melamine, formula C3N6H3, is a weak base, in-noxious substance. The appearance is white powder. Its Sp, Gr , is 1.573 at ordinary temperature. The quality accords with the standard of GB/T9567-1997.
Primarily used in manufacturing melamine formaldehyde resin as a kind of heat convertible resin. It is resistant heat, resistant ageing, inflaming retarding, high strength, fine luster in property. Melamine is widely used in paint, textile and paper-making, plastic, surface decorative laminates, building material, electrical equipment, and wood processing, etc.
